Mount Rinjani is an active volcano mountain on the island of Lombok in Indonesia. The 6 km by 8.5 km oval-shaped caldera (The caldera also contains hot springs) is filled partially by a crater lake known as Segara Anak (‘Child of the Sea’) and is around 2000 meters above sea level and then estimated at being around 200m deep. The eruptions of 1994, 1995, and 1996 have formed a small cone, Gunung Baru (or ‘New Mountain’ - around 2300m above sea level) in the center of the caldera and lava flows from these eruptions have entered the lake. This cone has since been renamed Mount Barujari (or ‘New Finger’).

A perfect place to relax, Senggigi boasts a series of white sandy beaches and safe swimming areas. The point at central Senggigi has good waves for surfers. This place has a colourful reef which provides shelter to a variety of marine life and exquisitely shapped coral and makes it a perfect place to snorkle.
In the dry season, there is an interesting variety of boats moored in the bay. The town of Senggigi spreads out along nearly 10 kilometers of coastal road. This road continues north to Bangsal, the port for the Gili Islands.
I have some hotel recommendations for your holiday in my beautiful country.
1. The Oberoi, Lombok.
I am a beach-addict. I love to go and stay at beach. One of my favorite is The Oberoi, Lombok. All the vilas and terrace pavilions offer roomy bedrooms and feature local colours, textures and artefacts. The villas have expansive, under the trees terraces to relax in, while you look out at beautiful beaches.
2. Majapahit Hotel, Surabaya.
At the first time I visit Surabaya. I prefer to stay in Hotel that is near from central city with shopping mall closed by. Majapahit is one of the best choices. A beautifull old fashion hotel, with very spacious room, very well furnished and located on ground level overlooking to the inner garden.
